Prime Minister joins Red Cross in thanking Canadians

Prime Minister Paul Martin visited the Quebec Division office of the Canadian Red Cross in Montreal on Wed., January 5. There, he met with Pierre Duplessis, Secretary-General of the Canadian Red Cross, to discuss the humanitarian issues surrounding the tsunami disaster in Asia.

The Prime Minister also took the opportunity to congratulate Canadians for their incredibly generous response, and before meeting the press, personally thanked a few donors on the Red Cross phone lines.
